I was reading this book called Rediscovering the Kingdom by Myles Munroe and came across this sentence that hit me like a rock! “Many believers get so completely fixated on Jesus as Savior and being “born again” that as soon as they are inside the Kingdom, they camp out on the doorstep and never go any farther.”
Basically, Jesus is the door and inside the door is the Kingdom of God. You have to go through Jesus to enter His Father’s Kingdom. I think I’ve been stuck at the door for awhile. My thought was, “I’m a christian, I believe in Jesus, now I have to make it through this sinful place called Earth and make it to Heaven.” But listen to what Jesus says in John 10:9-10:
9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:9-10
It is evident that Jesus has so much more for you and me! He doesn’t say, “you have to bear this earthly place until you die and go to heaven.” He talks about having “life to to the full”. So, how do we achieve this “life to the full”?
33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. – Matthew 6:33
Seek His Kingdom! Where is His Kingdom? His Kingdom is in your heart and my heart and the hearts of millions around the world. His Kingdom has no borders. It’s citizenship is available to everybody, we just have to go through the door to seek it.

Awesome stuff! Reminds me of the song that says, “take me past the outer courts, into the Holy place, past the brazen altar, Lord, i want to see your face”
There is so much more that God has for us – we just need to keep drawing near to him!

Calvin you have awesome revelation! I love what you said and your way of explaining it. So simple and so deep at the same time! Jesus is like a ocean and we are all sinking into the depth of the kingdom!
