What a crazy past 3 days! Tuesday we flew from Greenville to Dallas to Maui to Honolulu to Kona finally at around 11 PM (5AM our time). Our leader Jeff picked us up and gave us lei’s they had made themselves. We stayed with him and Bethany for a few days before we finally settled into our room at the GO center (GO stands for Global Outreach). We got a great welcoming to Hawaii by Jeff and Bethany and it was a fun time hang out with them before classes start. We also got to “sit in” on the staff worship session the first morning (all three hours of it!). It was a great opportunity to thank God for safe travels, for all his amazing provisions up until this point and to lift His Name up! He truly has blessed Camille and I with this rich experience and I feel like it will only get better!
Since being here, we haven’t been to the beach! We have been busy meeting and visiting with our staff and fellow students. The students are slowly trickling in and I love that there are about 4 couples around our age (a few on staff too). We finally met our Skype friends Liam and Rachel Byrnes in person and they are even better out of a digital format haha! We let Liam drive to the store and had a few heart skipping moments when he forgot he was in the US and was in the wrong lane (He’s from the UK)! We survived though and I think he’s getting the hang of it.
As I sit here writing this blog, worship has started in one the classrooms and with our open air rooms the lyrics just filters in. What a great atmosphere to be in! Class starts today, but it’s just orientation. More to come soon! Love you all!

Fantastic! Supporters, thought you might like to know of a neat new way to support YWAM. YWAM has a yahoo search page at http://www.freelanthropy.com/search/ywam Just use it like google or other site and YWAM earns money. Enjoy the training (and Hawaii!).
