North India has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. Many times I am reminded of my previous home in Eastern Oregon as I view what looks like the wild John Day River running through a deep valley, while other times it reminds me of Switzerland with its snow capped craggy mountain tops. I’ll be sure and post some shots from near the top of the world. This shot was taken in the morning as we were hiking to the Triund Pass (9000 feet). It features the silloquettes of our Tibetan friend and guide Gelek, Camille, and Jed.
