Hey! So we’ve been praying about outreach locations for a while now. Calvin and I both prayed separately asking the Lord where He wanted us. We both got Sweden! We were like sweet, thankful that the Lord isn’t sending us on separate outreaches! It’s a town in Sweden called Malmo. It’s a 30 min train ride from Copenhagen, Denmark. We’ve heard that it is a melting pot of cultures from the middle east, eastern europe and of course Scandinavia! We are really excited about it. We found out that they are combining the Sweden/Finland outreach. We’re not sure what that’s going to look like (if we’re going to spend time as a team in both, or send out separate teams to each) but we know that it’s going to be awesome! We’re super excited. Today when I was praying I was like I swear the Lord said Swenland and Calvin was like no way, me too! haha We’re not sure exactly what we’re going to be doing but we wanted to let you guys know! We’re leaving the week before Christmas! Thanks for praying for us and following our blog!! Please continue to be praying for us, for our team, finances, safety, and most of all for God to move in those areas. Pray for revival! Thank you Jesus!!!!
P.S. There is a couple from Finland, Henri and Pia Vähämaa that have been trying to teach us the language. They just laugh and laugh because, well we pretty much don’t know how to speak it! It’s all good though! I think I’ll try swedish, because it has shorter words…
My husband and I have finished staffing a Discipleship Training School (DTS) through Youth with a Mission (YWAM). We both love God and are committed to following his will. We enjoy taking photographs of our travels as well as blogging about awesome things God does.
