Now that we have our outreach location set, we have began our research and preparation for our locations (Sweden and Finland). We’ve been researching about the countries, cities, cultures, ministries and the languages (well..Swedish at least haha). It is hard to know what to expect and I think that is why we need the leading of the Holy Spirit. One of our speakers talked about holding up a lantern and being able to see only your next step ahead. It’s kind of the way God allows us to rely on Him. We don’t know the future. We just know we will be going to Malmo, Sweden and Finland because we feel like that is where the Lord is calling us. He just calls us to show up and he’ll be there waiting.
We can plan and research all we want but the Lord may already have something prepared for us and change our plans in an instance. I’ve read of many instances where peoples plans have been ruined only to be redeemed by God’s plan. He work out of our successes and failures.
I think many people struggle with “Is it His Will for me to do this?” or “Am I living His Will out”. As long as you love Him and continue to seek Him, you are doing His Will. He’ll work through all of our decisions, right or “wrong”.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
Just love Him and your heart will align with His will for your life.
My wife and I have finished staffing a Discipleship Training School (DTS) through Youth with a Mission (YWAM). We both love God and are committed to following his will. So good to hear that you have started to prepare for the cold winter ;)
It is so good what you are saying and really something that we get the chance to walk in during this months in Malmö i think. It will be alot about listen to God’s voice and take steps in faith all the time. I have really felt from God that He will show us what to do in his time, it will be a great time, so looking forward to meet you!! Say Hi to Kona from me!!

Sweden & Finland will be an absolutely wonderful experience for y’all, I can just feel it. I so love your post. Many people do struggle with the “Is it His will for me to do this?” concept. Great reference with Romans 8:28.
